Not everyone feels the need to pay 50, 60 or even 70 dollars for anti-virus, and I don't blame these people. Very few people actually have documents or images that need to be secured very well. Most people would get along with a free anti-virus program, and Avast is just that; even though it is free, it is still very secure, so go ahead and give it a try. |

Sure, you could install AIM, Yahoo!, MSN, and many of the other messagers available today seperately, or just use Trillian. it groups all your IM accounts into one slick messenger with tons of features. |

Why pay for expensive sound editing programs when audacity can do all they do; record whats playing, line in, add effects,split, silence, etc. If you have never done sound editing but want to try, give this software a try. Its a lot of fun. |

WinZip is a great program, but $40 is a lot to pay if you will only use it occasionally. 7-Zip does the same thing as WinZip, only its free. It can't get much better than that. |
